What a Lennox dealership means here

Cook’s installs the Lennox line, including the Healthy Climate indoor air products and the Ultimate Comfort System tier, and we warranty what we install. What the product pages below share is a bias toward equipment that handles Marion County’s conditions: a cooling season from March into November, July nights near 72 degrees, pollen that packs coils every spring, and water hard enough to scale a drain line in one summer.

Matching equipment to Ocala’s houses

Concrete-block ranches, 1970s and 1980s. Split systems with a new air handler in the attic, almost always paired with duct sealing or replacement. In Silver Springs Shores and Marion Oaks the duct is the product that changes the house.

55+ villas along SR 200. Package heat pumps on a pad behind the villa, quiet enough for a neighbor ten feet away. Original equipment in Stone Creek and Candler Hills is reaching the age where like-for-like replacement is the common call.

New construction in the southwest and the horse country. Variable-speed systems with zoning for big single-story floor plans, smart thermostats, and dehumidification for homes built tight.

Garages, lanais and barn offices. Mini-split systems, which condition a space without borrowing capacity from the main system and are our usual answer for an enclosed lanai in Heath Brook or a tack room off US 441.

Well-water homes. Anything with a drain, from humidifiers and dehumidifiers to condensate pumps, is specified with Marion County’s iron-rich Floridan water in mind.

Two things every Ocala install gets

A surge protector at the disconnect, because Florida leads the nation in lightning and Milton showed in 2024 that a storm sixty miles away still takes Marion County down. And a straight answer on incentives: federal tax credits ended for equipment placed in service after December 31, 2025, so we point you to utility rebates and Lennox promotions instead.

Equipment questions from Ocala

Why Lennox rather than one of the other brands you repair?

Because dealer status means factory training, parts access and the ability to stand behind the warranty ourselves. We repair Carrier, Trane and Bryant every week, but when we install something new in Marion County we want to own the outcome.

Package unit or split system for a 55+ villa?

Most villas in On Top of the World and Oak Run were built for a package unit on a pad, and replacing like for like keeps the job clean. A split system makes sense when there is a usable air handler closet and the owner wants the higher efficiency tiers.

Is a whole-home dehumidifier an Ocala product, or a coastal one?

An Ocala one. Inland summers are muggy nearly around the clock, and tight newer homes in Fore Ranch and Heath Brook hold moisture the air conditioner alone cannot pull out. On well water, we route its drain with scale in mind.

Do you actually sell furnaces in Marion County?

A few. Most Ocala homes are all-electric and best served by a heat pump with backup strips, but houses on Peoples Gas or propane sometimes keep a furnace, and we install and service them.
